Jess Groves

Associate Governor

I am the mother of Harry Groves who attends St Johns and I have a daughter, Olivia Groves, who is two and I hope will attend the school in due course.
I have strong and historic links to the School and St Johns Church. I am a former pupil and have wonderful memories of my time at primary school. I was baptised at St John’s Church, my husband and I were married there and our Children were also baptised there.
I am a practising solicitor with over 10 years’ worth of experience dealing primarily in real estate matters. My current firm also specialises in Charity and Educational Law and I hope that these links will be a benefit to the school and will assist with my ability to contribute to the governing body.
I am committed to being an active Governor and hope to be able to support the Children who attend St Johns, other Governors, Staff and Parents throughout my appointment.
I am also an active member of the PTFA and I believe that my involvement with the PTFA would bring an added benefit and a stronger link between the two.
